Free integration assistance for foreigners in the Košice Region.
The centre is run by the organizations People in Need, League for Human Rights and Mareena.

Basic information and assistance

– orientation in Košice
– сonsultations regarding available assistance and administration
– information about other integration services offered in Kosice
– assistance with filling in forms and applications

Legal advice and assistance

– legal advice on residence and integration rights of foreigners in Slovakia
– preparation of basic contracts and documents
– linking to professional assistance of an attorney or the Legal Aid Centre

We offer social services or assistance

– social services and advice on official issues
– assistance in finding a general practitioner for adults and a paediatrician for children
– assistance in finding specialist doctors
– information about the health care system and the health insurance system in Slovakia

Education for adults

– advice on the recognition of a regulated, unregulated professions and secondary education for the purpose of employment or continuing education
– advising on studying at universities in Slovakia

Education for children and young people

– consultations in the field of education system in Slovakia
– counselling on enrolment in primary school
– consultations on the enrolment of a child to kindergartens and nurseries
– consultations on non-formal education of children (effective use of free time, search for clubs for children and youth).

Assistance in finding a job and career guidance

– help with finding job
– orientation in the Slovak labour market and employment relations
– link to the labour office and employers
– assistance with preparing and translating CV, sending CV to employers
– assistance in finding Slovak language courses

We recommend arranging the date and time of the appointment in advance HERE.

  • The services are not available on public holidays.
  • The services are also provided by female staff.
  • All services are free of charge.
