Blue Dot COMIN is the contact point for all foreigners arriving and living in Nitra.


Contact us if you need information and advice regarding health care, psychological help, education, employment, social assistance, leisure activities and other needs related to your life in Nitra.

Assistance services

We provide assistance services through cultural mediators and social workers in solving various life situations and problems related to your life in Slovakia.

Legal aid

We provide legal aid in the field of residence, accommodation, employment, social assistance, health care, education and other areas of your life in Slovakia. The consultations are provided free of charge in Slovak and Ukrainian.

Community centre

Our Blue Dot COMIN centre regularly organizes leisure, educational and volunteer events. The events are intended for teenagers and adults and focus on the communication, integration into the Slovak society, board games, and discussions on interesting topics, views of life and culture, as well as training techniques for managing stress. You also have an opportunity to meet new people, both foreigners and Slovaks, here in the community centre.

Children playground

The children playground is suitable for children of all ages. They can play board games, do their homework, read books or search for information on the Internet in a nice environment. Every day, we organize special development activities for children, such as cartoons, drawing, reading, crafts and development of fine motor skills.

You can also take care of your babies, feed them or change them here.

If you need to run errands, you can leave your children here in the care of our staff for a short time (max. 3 hours).

Preschool club

We are currently admitting children aged 4 to 6.

The classes of the preschool club prepare Ukrainian children for starting school.

The special school preparation program offers a possibility for children to choose whether to study in a Ukrainian or Slovak school. Children will learn Ukrainian and Slovak language, mathematics and understand basic things through playing. Children will obtain all necessary learning materials. The classes will take place in Nitra.

The maximum number of children per group is 10.

The classes take place in the following times.
Monday: 8:00 – 12:00
Monday: 12:30 – 16:00

Psychological help for children

In recent weeks, there have been more and more children from Ukraine who have had difficult and traumatizing experience in Slovak schools and kindergartens. If you know children or teenagers in your area who need psychological help, do not hesitate to contact our Blue Dot COMIN centre.

Material aid

We provide basic material aid – basic hygiene kits, drug store products, clothing and food aid. If necessary, call us at the number: +421 947 924 753.

Blue Dot COMIN Club

We create a nice environment where people from the community can meet socially, have fun and spend pleasant time together in the club. Your safety and comfort are very important to us, which is why we have created an environment that promotes inclusion, respects diversity and provides support, assistance and protection. Various development activities are organized in the club every day.

Thursday: 8:00-12:00 and 12:30-16:30
