Description

Psychosocial care

We provide psychosocial care and support for people from Ukraine.

Gender-based violence project

The Gender Based Violence Project aims to raise awareness on women’s health while helping specific cases of gender based violence specifically as needed.

The main principles of the project are anonymity, confidentiality, non-judgement, client-orientation and an effort to provide the best possible services (medical, legal, social, psychological, etc.) required in individual cases of gender-based violence with the help of partner organisations and civil society associations.

In each region of Slovakia, the League for Mental Health and EQUITA have established pairs of female workers who jointly provide so-called “case management”, individually according to the needs of clients who have been victims of gender-based violence.
